Blooming lovely ~ flower trends for 2012

Good morning wedding lovers! I am here to inspire you again today, this time with some blooming lovely, flower trend inspiration for 2012. These gorgeous arrangements were created by Matt from The Urban Flower Co. and captured by talented flower and plant photographer Katie Spicer. The vintage trend is still going strong, here we focus on two stunning looks, Sweet Romantic and Vintage Garden, just beautiful…

“Sweet Romantic”

Think full, soft blooms, or for more texture, a mixture of blooms at different stages. Colour tones – think soft, nude palette – delicate pinks, dusty lavender, soft creams . Foliage – very light if any.

“Vintage Garden”

Again, think natural, as if picked from a wild English garden. Earthy foliage and scented herbs, combined with vintage colour palette of dusty pinks and purples. For a modern twist opt for a strong or deep pink or purple to add great contrast.
