I am so excited to share today’s post with you as it’s to introduce to you a brand new bridal label that’s causing a bit of a buzz in the wedding industry.

Question. If you’re a cool girl who loves low key luxe, just what kind of bridal gown do you wear? The answer my loves? Mario Senvo.

Aimed at ‘twenty something’ brides who covet an unstructured, effortless bridal aesthetic with a dash of glamour, this simple collection features beaded bodies, elongated lines, fashion forward pleats and low scooped backs. In fact, it’s hard to see why brides in the 30+ market wouldn’t be mesmorized by this collection also!

Composed and sensual, she wants to be comfortable yet elegant, fashion forward but timeless.

The impeccable lines meet fluid silhouettes creating a collection that is new and bold and altogether interesting for 2014, but to call the Maria Senvo design team minimalists would be too simple.

The seemingly uncomplicated pieces are stylish, on closer inspection, playful experiments in shapes and fabrics with a focus on the finer points in design, so that the inside of the garments are just as beautiful as the outside.

Stirred by quite a constellation of influences it’s clear to see a main inspiration as art culture and modernism, even the campaign taster shot at a British sculpture park oozes an essence of what the brand is really about; Creating a striking new presence in a somewhat traditional industry.

The brand name is an anagram of ‘vena amoris’ which by way of tradition is the vein that links your ring finger to your heart.

The Maria Senvo collection will be available nationwide in individual independent boutiques. Each boutique offers a unique service to their bride, such as the lovely ‘The Case of the Curious Bride’ in Manchester, they even hand make bespoke accessories to match the gowns.

The collection begins at £1500 retail price and works upwards, with each gown customisable to suit each brides needs and to make her feel super special on her big day.
