Afterall, who doesn’t want to look fresh faced and youthful on their big day…
We have been inspired by 2014 Dolce and Gabbana’s Spring Summer catwalk make-up look, Modern Day Romantic! We think this is the perfect look for summer brides and is a lot easier than you think to re-create! Follow our step by step guide on how to achieve this beautiful rosy look.
This look must have a sheer glowy base, apply a light luminous foundation or tinted moisturizer all over the face followed by concealer in areas which need extra coverage, only powder if necessary lightly through the t-zone.

We want the eyes to look dreamy, start by covering the lid in a pearl iridescent cream eye base to give luminosity. Next sweep a mid toned brown over the eye up to the socket line using a large blending brush.
Taking the same eye shadow with a smaller brush, run along the bottom lashes keeping the line soft and smudgy. Add extra pearl cream eye colour to the inner corners of the eyes and a nude liner onto the bottom water line to open and brighten them!
Finish off with a quick curl of the lashes followed by lashings of mascara, we want to achieve the flutter effect.
We love: Shiseido Shimmering Cream Eye Colour & Benefit Eyebright Pencil
Well groomed brows will make the world of difference to this look. Make sure they are softly coloured slightly lighter than your hair colour, brushed up and gelled in place!
This will perfectly frame your romantic eyes.
We love: MAC Eyebrows Liner
Apply a super bendable cream blush in a romantic pink colour such as rosebud to the apple of the cheeks. Don’t be shy, this is the main focus of the look and will give you ultra fresh younger looking skin.
Add extra dewiness and shine to your cheekbones, cupids bow and nose by dabbing a liquid highlighter onto those areas.
We love: STILA Convertible Colour Lip and Cheek Creme
For the perfect bee stung pout pat a raspberry lip stain on the lips and finish off by adding a touch of lip balm for a light sheen.
We love: BECCA Beach Tint
