I have an exciting first look for any Grace Loves Lace fans out there. The boho lace bridal label is about to release a limited edition couture wedding dress collection to complement their new BLANC collection (that I’ll also be sharing real soon – promise).

Delivering a new era of wedding gowns since 2010, Grace Loves Lace are renowned for creating effortlessly unique, luxurious designs for the modern woman. Exploring new territory, applying their signature style and love for luxurious laces, comes the introduction of a specialised category of bespoke couture gowns.
The limited edition collection features 3 one-of-a-kind designs that are so exclusive, there will only be a handful of each available. A celebration of dressmaking, these unrefined and inexplicably chic designs feature the most exquisite textured European laces and embroidery, using artisan techniques and over 48 hours of hand sewing per gown. This collection is an ode to the woman who demands to be different. The range exudes luxury and glamour, with hand beading, divine encrusted detailing, fused with rich texture and soft jewel coloured tones to create an unworldly-like aesthetic.
“We have stayed true to the GLL brand by making these gowns perfectly imperfect; we love a raw and organic feel over perfectly polished any day of the week and so do our women. Each of the gowns has a story to tell and the more you stare at them from every angle the more interesting they become. They are really more like pieces of art,” says Ziems.
In celebration of our latest campaign launching at the end of May, shot in New York and captured by photographer Darren McDonald, with New Zealand native and supermodel Georgia Fowler, the gowns are named fondly after iconic New York locations; Liberty, Tribeca and Empire.
The capsule collection fuses the label’s love of design and innovation, and is just the beginning of many new and exciting offerings for the new era bride. The limited edition couture collection by GLL ranges from $5,000 and can be viewed via private consult on request via the GLL online stylist service.
