AMANDA WAKELEY RELEASES NEW BRIDAL 17 COLLECTION
Epitomising luxury, elegance and sophistication, Amanda Wakeley has released her new bridal collection harking back to the romance of the 1920s – and it is super gorgeous!!
Deco inspired crystal beading adorns impeccably cut bias satin dresses or goddess-like silk tulle. Dramatic silk mikado styles are adorned with graphic lace panels or pearlised beading creating a grandeur that is befitting a cathedral wedding.
Texture is key to the new collection. Raw cut chiffon is layered into graphic panels against an abstract artwork of crystals and pearls. Woven fringed ribbon in textural volume is wrapped with silk ribbons to cinch the waist. Delicate bias satin ribbons are applied to tulle, together with narrow lines of beading to create a fluid sun-ray effect.
This season introduces the versatility of bridal separates. A statement embellished harness or embroidered top can be teamed with a paneled Mikado skirt for dramatic volume or circular cut chiffon skirt for soft fluidity.
