We chose Villa del Balbianello in Varenna, Lake Como to elope as we wanted something different from the classic cities in Italy. This was all arranged by Blooming Eventi.
I loved the purple and white combination of roses and lavender is my favourite flower.
I wore a simple and beautiful wedding dress as I wanted something fresh and romantic.
Our whole day was inspired by us – we wanted it to be all about us and couldn’t wait any longer to get married, and an elopement was the perfect way to do it.
The most memorable moment of the day was the ceremony! So full of emotion.
Diego and I met in the university’s library! We lived together for 2 years and didn’t want to wait any longer to get married. With a trip planned to Italy, we decided for an elopement. It was the right thing for us and we enjoyed every second of our intimate wedding and honeymoon.
If we could impart any words of wisdom to other couples we would say… Your wedding day should be about you and your husband, don’t worry too much about anything else.
