Black, white & ivory: elegant winter | real wedding
Hi ladies, I’m swooning over this sophisticated black, white & ivory real wedding with the merest hint of crimson. Our bride Jennifer is a doctor no less and the groom Robert… well, he’s an FBI agent ~ yes, really an actual FBI agent!!
There are many gorgeous touches to this lovely wedding but in particular I adore the brides dress, the black bridesmaid dresses, the contemporary venue and the photography, it’s just stunning!
Robert and Jennifer met at a post Christmas party and it wasn’t long before he popped the big question. He was due to leave the country on a 3 month assignment and the timing just felt right…

“I really felt it was time,” he said. “We were home. I didn’t want a spectacle type of proposal.”
It was a very snowy Sunday in Minneapolis that had begun with the two of them attending a yoga class. On the way back, Dr. Swanson slipped on some ice and sprained her ring finger.
Once home, Robert ran upstairs and returned with a ring. “It was just sort of spur of the moment,” said Jennifer, who agreed to marry him. But the fall forced one change in their plans.
“We couldn’t fit it on my ring finger,” she said. “I wore it on my right hand for a few weeks.”
What a gorgeous couple and a beautiful wedding, I’m in wedding awe!! Hope you are too!
