Happy Friday lovelies! I hope you’ve something fabulous planned for the weekend? Here at want that wedding I love sharing happy couples engagement shoots! I think I should have been an anthropologist or something as people and their lives just fascinate me!I guess a second vocation as a wedding blogger gives me the opportunity to indulge in my voyeuristic side as I follow couples and their journeys to the alter. I love to hear how a couple met and what it is they love about each other… so I’m dead chuffed to introduce another couple celebrating their engagement, Seb and Noelle to the WTW blog. Enjoy their love shoot and their story. XxX
Seb and I met whilst studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London for our masters degrees in piano and cello. We had played in a piano trio with our very good friend and violinist for about a year when we realised there was something exciting happening between us that was more than the friendship we had at the time.
I had asked Seb to accompany me for a masterclass and offered to take him out for drinks as a thank you and shortly after this, we fell in love and continued to play in our piano trio as well as making music together both here in the UK and back in the US where I am from.
This past September, Seb and I had moved into our new flat and we had a really amazing house warming party with some very good friends. I had no idea that Seb had planned to propose to me that night, as I never expected him to do it in front of a group of people!
We all gathered in the living room for a toast and Seb thanked everyone for coming and then started to cry and walked over to me and proposed…I was completely surprised and elated! Needless to say, the rest of the party was the best house warming I’ve ever been to!
Seb and I are getting married on 11 April, 2014 in Vero Beach, Florida where my parents have a home on the beach. We will have our ceremony on the sand followed by the cocktail hour and reception on the lawn by the pool in a marquee.
I had never been to the farm at mudchute before which was very cool. That whole area of london is very new to me and there are so many great little spots with views of canary wharf and the river.
What a perfect place to have your own little love shoot, please do please leave Seb and Noelle some love on the blog!
