A Short Film: Mannequin by Truvelle

Happy Fridays lovelies and what a wonderful day we’ve had!

It all started with a rather indulgent champagne breakfast to preview the amazing Zahavit Tshuba bridal gowns that are now available in the UK [exclusively] at Les Trois Soeurs in Canary Wharf.

Israeli wedding dress designers are just so damn hot right now. Take a peek on instagram to see a few pics I captured of all the gorgeousness.

Anyway, back to today… and I’m all over this sweet n’ short film by Truvelle Bridal.

Another bridal designer that is incredibly amaze, and this is such a novel way of showcasing their gowns – beware though, watch this film at your peril – you’ll be wanting one of these effortlessly modern gowns and the obscenely cute hedgehog ;)

About the shoot

The film features all eight gowns from Truvelle’s 2015 collection. The story was created and Truvelle then styled the gowns around it.

Writer/Director Mehdi Nowroozi accepted the challenge of having to show off eight dresses and structured the film into eight separate scenes in order to give each piece it’s shinning moment.

Mehdi then needed something to connect these scenes and the idea of the white rope came to be, taking the viewer from scene to scene, and the leading lady on a whimsical adventure.
