wedding dress trends 2016
If you’re getting married in 2016, I’m so happy to share this post with you – as it’s all about the fashion trends in bridal.
Wedding dress trends for 2016 are seriously gorge, and it’s been interesting to see how the trends have evolved over the years. Personally, I think there’s never been a better time to purchase a beautiful, on-trend wedding dress that will have all heads whipping your way.
So do you wanna know what these super chic trends are? Yay. Let’s go!
The illusion bodice wedding dress is the even more daring evolution of the super chic illusion backed wedding dresses of 2014 / 15. This stunning gown is by Ines Di Santo.
Coloured wedding dresses are big big news for 2015 brides wanting something ultra feminine and a little different. Neutral wedding dresses will be super big for 2016. This beaut is by Jenny Packham.
Tulle Over Skirts
Tulle over skirts were taking over the catwalks for 2016. Another beautiful and feminine trend. Many over skirts are also detachable which gives you the option of rocking two looks on your big day. This gown below is by Monique Lhuillier.
Plunging necklines get given a twist with the keyhole neckline. Slightly more peekaboo than plunging. This divine wedding dress below is by Galia Lahav.
The Deep Plunge
The deep plunge is not for the feint of heart. With the plunge often starting at the naval or below the breast bone this is one gorgeous wedding dress trend that only the most confident of brides can pull off. This amazing gown is by Vera Wang.
If your legs are your best asset then perhaps a sheer skirt might be a trend you want to try for your wedding? Go for a soft silhouette for a more modest sheer or ramp it up and dare to bare… This cool wedding gown is by Houghton.
Another show stopping trend is an old fashioned Hollywood favourite. The sexy slit. This double slit beauty is by Alon Livné.
The tiered skirt combines a highly romantic look crossed with high fashion! One particularly wedding dress trend I absolutely adore. This gorgeous gown is by Marchesa .
Bridal separates are a big trend in 2015 and will be even more massive in 2016. From crop tops that bare a hint of midriff to separates that show of your rock hard abs (yeah I don’t have any either ;-)… This beautiful gown is by Mira Zwillinger!
The last trend in the pack is the gloriously gorgeous 3D floral. Think beautiful blooms that have been loving appliqued. This stunning gown is by Vera Wang.

And finally, here are some wedding dresses for 2016 that we just absolutely LOVE. Many are an amalgamation of all the trends…
